Anyone over the age of 8 is welcome and invited to join the Gymnaestrada Performance Group.

What is Gymnaestrada?

Gymnaestrada is all about participation and fun—it's a non-competitive group routine that's open to everyone! This ‘Gymnastics for All’ event welcomes gymnasts of all ages, genders, and skill levels, blending various gymnastics disciplines to highlight their unique talents, creativity, and passion for the sport. This year, Quinte Bay Gymnastics is thrilled to host the Ontario Gymnaestrada. We’ve put together a performance group class to create a team for the event. Our coaches will design a large group routine that showcases each athlete’s individual skills. It’s going to be an incredible experience! Plus, during the main event weekend, students will have the chance to join in on workshops.

When are practices?

Team practices will be on Sundays from 4:30-6:00pm. There will be 16 practices during the Fall/Winter Term:

• September 14, 21, 28

• October 5, 19, 26

• November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 

• December 7, 14

• January 11, 18, 25

As this is a performance group your child must be able to attend 90% of the classes and be available to perform the weekend of February 7th & 8th, 2026. Host club/venue TBD.

Cost?

The total cost for all practices, festival weekend including workshop, rehearsal, and performance: $415.

*the tuition cost is $240 + $175 (cost for festival/meet) = $415

Attire/Costume?

We ask that all members have a QBGC leotard, available in the boutique, many colour options available. Any additional props or items required will be covered by the club.
