Your Guide to QBGC: All the Answers You Need to Start Strong!
We’ve simplified our most common questions so you can focus on what matters most: watching your child grow, learn, and shine.

How do I register my child for a class or event?
Getting started is easy! You can register online via our website or app, or reach out to us directly via email (rec@quintebaygymnastics.com) or phone (613-967-9517) for help. If you’re a returning member and need assistance logging into your account, don’t create a new one—our team is here to get you sorted quickly!

Which class is right for my child?
We offer programs for every age and skill level, designed to nurture confidence and progress. All you need to do is choose a class according to your child's age; no need to worry about skill level, we will assess that. Here is a quick guide to the different types of gymnastics we offer:
Artistic Gymnastics – Age 5+
Artistic Gymnastics is the most common style of gymnastics and includes a mix of strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination. Athletes use equipment like the uneven bars, beam, vault, floor, trampoline, and tumble track to learn skills and routines. It's a great all-around introduction to the sport!
Tumbling – Age 7+
Tumbling focuses on powerful, fast-paced floor skills like cartwheels, round-offs, flips, and handsprings. It’s done on long spring floors like a rod floor or tumble track and doesn’t use the traditional equipment like uneven bars or beam. Perfect for kids who love to run, flip, and fly across the floor!
Trampoline – Age 9 +
Trampoline gymnastics is all about bounce, height, and control. Athletes use trampolines and the tumble track to learn skills like jumps, twists, and flips, while developing body control and air awareness. It’s exciting and fun for kids who love to be airborne!

ACRO (Acrobatic) Gymnastics – Age 8+
Acro combines gymnastics, partner work, and dance. Athletes work together to build balance, lifts, and group skills, along with individual tumbling. It builds trust, teamwork, and strength. Great for kids who enjoy working with others and performing creative routines.
Our staff is happy to help you choose the best fit for your child’s age, interests, and goals.

How do I know when my child is ready for an Advanced gymnastics class?
Our advanced classes are designed for athletes who have developed strong foundational skills and are ready for more challenging training. Readiness depends on both age and skill level. Coaches assess each gymnast’s progress and will recommend a move to Advanced when appropriate.
