Employment Opportunities

Here at Quinte Bay Gymnastics, we strive to provide the fun, fitness, and fundamentals of gymnastics in our 20,000 square foot facility. We are proud to have 1200 athletes come through the doors weekly, gaining a personalized gymnastics experience with one of our many trained coaches.

As our facility expands, we are always looking for opportunities to grow our coaching team. Whether you are 13 and looking to volunteer as a Coach-In-Training, or are over 16 and would like to start coaching, there are opportunities available. We provide over 130 recreational classes per week along with camps, birthday parties, and school trips.

As our competitive team grows we are seeking qualified Competition 1 (Introduction) coaches, with experience for our pre-competitive program, provincial women's artistic program, acrobatic gymnastics program, provincial/national tumbling program, as well as our trampoline program.

To apply for a Coaching position or a Coach-In-Training position please complete the Coaching Application. Please be sure to include a resume and cover letter stating why you would be an asset to the QBGC team!

Quinte Bay Gymnastics Club welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities. Accommodations are available upon request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.

We thank all applicants for their interest in Quinte Bay Gymnastics; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

Leadership Training Program

The Leadership Training Program will lay the foundation for you to begin your journey towards becoming a great leader and strong, confident coach. There will be opportunities for self-reflection, goal setting, understanding social cues, improving communication, behaviour management, lesson planning at QBGC along with understanding our gym rules, expectations, procedures, routines, and so much more.

Throughout the program QBGC will have the opportunity to learn more about you as you work through QBGC's very own leadership training program. The program will consist of 2 components dividing your time between classroom learning and time in the gym. Your time spent in the gym will be hands on learning while focusing on where you will be given the tools to create the 'magic' and build on and develop the skill intention laid out with each lesson and work through gymnastic progressions.  Together we will review, reflect and have a final evaluation of the program.

Upon completion of the program, each leader will be given two opportunities to 'shadow' one of our established QBGC coaches during class. This opportunity will allow you to see in person some of the characteristics and skills it takes to be a great leader and strong, confident coach.
